Who We Are

The ELBC Foundation

- ELBC Foundation, an acronym for Every Little Bit Counts, is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 by some old students of Achimota Secondary School (AKORAS). Our organization believes that we are our brother’s keepers and that our fingers do not fade from the lives we touch. Therefore, at ELBC, we are dedicated and committed to improving the lives of the vulnerable and needy population in impoverished and remote parts of Ghana, and other African nations where possible.
- Thanks to our benefactors and supporters, we have made strides in providing aid and assistance by giving hot meals, necessities such as provisions, toiletries, school items, toys, clothing, shoes, medical supplies, and medication to hospitals, orphanages, and schools in both Accra and a few villages in remote parts of Ghana.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana, ELBC, in collaboration with the Soul Restaurant, Kyebi, provided hot meals to the frontline workers at the Kyebi Hospital. The following year, we once again provided hot food to the front-line workers, donated books and toys, and money to the children and parents of the sick children at the Children’s Ward at Kyebi Hospital. In the same year, ELBC traveled to the Nectar Foundation, an Orphanage in Agomenya, Yilo Krobo, and served hot meals to the children. We also provided the children with books, toys, and necessities such as toilet rolls, soaps, toothpaste, milk, milo, and biscuits. In 2022/23 we collaborated with more charitable organizations such as: Embrace Breast Cancer Support Group; Grateful Givers; Soul Restaurant; W. Emporium; D Collection to provide well-needed aid and support to the needy in Accra, and the rural areas.
